Membership Application

Download. Print. Complete. Submit.
Thank you for expressing an interest in joining the Coopersville Sportsmans Club. All applicants are required to have the endorsement of a "sponsor." The sponsor must be a current Club member in good standing. If you do not have a sponsor or you are not acquainted with any current member, you are encouraged to contact us. We would be happy to discuss your application in person or over the phone. Applicants are strongly encouraged to visit the Club during one of our regularly scheduled meetings (first Monday of each month at 7:30 PM at the Club) or during one of our many hosted or sponsored events at the Club or among the greater Coopersville community. These are great opportunities to introduce yourself to members and identify a membership application sponsor.

Applicants are voted on annually in June among the current Club membership. Applicants are encouraged to present themselves at the June meeting to share the contents of their application and meet the current members. All prospective members must fill out this application completely. Be certain to include any piece of relevant information you feel will help promote your application.

Applications received will be kept on file in order of date received and acted upon during the open membership period. If membership is at capacity, the applications will be kept on file in order of date received until such time that membership falls below the Club membership cap.

All members must accrue at least 100 points in a membership year by attending regular meetings, assisting at Club hosted/sponsored events, completing labor at the Club grounds, and selling Club sponsored raffle tickets. Regular membership dues are $30 annually and $50 for your first year of membership. Club members not meeting the required points threshold may be penalized or removed from membership.

Members, including spouse and children 17 years of age and younger, are allowed full use of Coopersville Sportsmans Club including its grounds, ranges, and buildings for general use. To reserve the grounds, ranges, and buildings for an event, the member must make a request at a regularly scheduled membership meeting. Club property is not to be removed from the grounds unless expressed permission has been granted by Club leadership.

Members of the Coopersville Sportsmans Club must follow all local, state, federal and provincial game laws at all times.
Coopersville Sportsmans Club is a private non-profit organization that reserves the right to deny membership to any individual who does not meet the terms and conditions of this application. The Coopersville Sportsmans Club also reserves the right to deny membership to any individual who is not consistent with the clubs’ mission statement.
